More details of house groups will be added as they supply them. See our upcoming events for details of any forthcoming united house groups. Past presentations can be seen again on this page.
Foister House Group
We meet on Tuesday evening at 8:30pm. We generally start with a catch-up session and prayers for any needs that have arisen and then move on to study, which generally takes the form of led discussion based on bible readings. The group is made up of a wide range of ages, backgrounds and interests and has been described as “a housegroup where we have grown in spiritual application through study, prayer, laughter and tears”.
Lancaster House Group
The Lancaster house group has about 12 members, and meets in a room at the church at 2:30pm on the 2nd, 4th (and 5th) Wednesday afternoons of the month. Our members are mainly of a certain age - i.e. we qualify for senior discount at the Odeon, and senior rail tickets - but this is not an entry requirement! We enjoy a cup of tea and chat at the start, but soon get down to the real business of helping each other understand what God is saying to us through our conversational Bible studies. But it doesn't stop there! We provide a team to help Roger with 'Wet Your Whistle', and the A-Team is often at the church doing DIY work. It's a happy group - we are always there for each other, and would welcome new members.

Soup Hub Lunch
We have started serving a Soup Lunch every Thursday from 12 noon to 1 pm in the Church Hub following the Coffee Hub. With lovely fresh home made soup and a roll, all are welcome to come and lunch together. Donations towards the cost are invited.
We have started a community repair and mend group, meeting every Thursday at Coffee Hub 9:30 am – 12 noon. So bring along those things that need fixing – vacuum cleaners / bikes / mowers / old garments that need a make over etc. and we will have a go at fixing them. Why bin it when we can fix it! We have begun to raise funds to help set up and buy more equipment for this project on Spacehive, so follow the link for more details and to pledge your donation now.
Technically minded repairers are particularly welcome on Thursdays!!
Little Sparks Parent and Toddler Group is every Tuesday at 10:00. See the poster on our home page for details and download a copy to print off and put somewhere handy to remind you.
A short video clip of Darren's baptism may be viewed here and on our baptism page. The clip shows Darren's testimony and baptism.
Tool Box Project
Do you have any spare tools or craft items? We are collecting them for Tools With a Mission. See the list on our Tool Box Project page for details of what we currently need.
Can you knit, crochet or sew?

As a church we believe in the power of prayer and that it makes a difference in situations and circumstances. We are part of Chelmsford 24-7 Prayer, joining with Christians from across our City to pray for the things God lays on our hearts. Please follow this link for more information about how you and your church can get involved: https://chelmsford24-7.org/. Plans for the near future at Springfield Park involve the setting up of a new prayer space and prayer walks around our local area. Watch this space for developments.
Come to our coffee drop-in on Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 12 noon. All welcome for free coffee, tea and a chat.
