Sunday Service 7th February
We are into the fortyfifth week of our online services in the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. As we are in national lockdown and there have been increasing numbers of new cases of the virus the church is closed and the service will again be online only. This week the Brett's are leading and the service has been prerecorded. Don't forget that this week there will also be a live prayer meeting that you can join at 11am. You can join in the service by clicking the video links below. Alison's Bible story time for younger children continues with the story of the crossing of the Red Sea. See it below the service in Childrens Corner. If you didn't see our last Sunday service and would like to catch up, you can see it here. Links to all the services are also on the Listen Again page.
Don't forget, you can also take a look at last week's service again to see what comments have been left and to respond to them where appropriate.
If you would like to contribute an item for next week's service or for another week contact Alison or leave a message in the comments below. We will be continuing with our online services, as well as in church when we can, for the foreseeable future, and it would be good to get as many of you involved as possible.
Joshua 6: The fall of Jericho
A very warm welcome to our service today; please sit back, relax and join in with us as we think about the battle of Jericho and worship together. There is also the opportunity to join us live(!) at 11am for half an hour to pray together. (link at the end of the service).
Have a look at the story of Joshua on one of these two links (depending upon your concentration level you could even watch both!)
1.) Video story: The battle of Jericho, animated highlights
2.) Full bible reading (with sound effects!)
Joshua had to be good at following Gods instructions. How good are Sophie and Carl at following each other’s instructions? Watch the video below to find out!
Please join in and sing our first song ‘Shout to the Lord’

As a church we believe in the power of prayer and that it makes a difference in situations and circumstances. We are part of Chelmsford 24-7 Prayer, joining with Christians from across our City to pray for the things God lays on our hearts. Please follow this link for more information about how you and your church can get involved: https://chelmsford24-7.org/. Plans for the near future at Springfield Park involve the setting up of a new prayer space and prayer walks around our local area. Watch this space for developments.
